Advanced DBF Editor is a viewer application for database files in .dbf. Designed primarily for advanced database users, the program enables you to open any xbase compliant database and edit its records without the need to buy a dedicated database creation and management application. Out of the box, Advanced DBF Editor supports all databases and does not require external drivers to connect to a database (ODBC, BDE).
While Advanced DBF Editor is positioned as the viewing tool, it has much more to offer. For a mere $39.95, which many find astonishing given the product's versatility, the program enables the user to edit records, sort, query by example, find and delete duplicate records and print a database to paper. The specialty of DBF Viewer is ability to edit memo fields in dBase III, dBase IV, FoxPro, VFP and dBase Level 7 formats. The program exports a database to a wide range of other formats, such as DBF, TXT, CSV, Excel, HTML, XML, PRG, and SQL.
