Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux is the best backup software for Linux servers. You can create a live image of your Linux server and restore it in no time in case of an unforeseen event. In addition, Acronis True Image reduces downtime, allowing you to get back to work in minutes. Due to the exclusive Acronis Drive Snapshot technology, backup operations are carried out without interrupting your working process. You can stay up and running 24x7x365!
Acronis True Image allows you to perform 3 types of backup: full backup (a snapshot of the whole server), differential backup (all changes since this state of your system) and incremental backup (all changes since the previous backup). You can also back up and restore particular files and folders, or even selected file types. Scheduling operations is also available to you. For the peace of mind, you can choose the option of receiving e-mail notifications after your backup tasks are accomplished.
To ensure that your backup files are adequately protected, Acronis True Image offers you the ability to encrypt your images and save them to Acronis Secure Zone - a special partition on your hard drive seen by Acronis wizards only. So your data won`t get damaged or wiped out whatever happens. You can also password-protect your backups for even more security.
You can create CDs with bootable images and bootable recovery media ISOs, which will eliminate the need to have separate recovery media and provide flexibility for application management. Plus you may modify your images - mount them in the read/write mode and apply changes directly. Acronis True Image supports both 64- and 32-bit processors.
