Office Report Builder is a powerful, easy to use and flexible tool that enables Microsoft Excel and MS Word to be powerful reporting generator.
Office Report is cost effective and can extract data from different databases. Manage your lists, prints address labels and works with post mail. You can use different databases to create personalized post mailing and direct mail campaigns, to customize all fields and keep notes of important customer information. For print mailings, design & print directly onto labels, envelopes, post cards, address books, reports, form letters and more.
Office Report Builder supports command line mode. So it is possible to call generator from other program. For developers, you can integrate Office Report Builder and your application.
If you know how to use Microsoft Office and write SQL statements, you can use Office Report Builder to create all kinds of reports as you need. The program supports high level of report customization such as cover page, header, tables, etc.
To create a report, Office Report Builder uses a report template file and report option file. The report template file is a Microsoft Word and Excel document that defines the layouts and formats of a report. The option file contains SQL statements and some information, and tells MS Word or MS Excel how to get data from database and how to put data into a report.
You do not need to buy extra costly reporting tools. It saves your time, reduces development and training time, generates reports in familiar formats. You are familiar with Microsoft Office, and already know how to use it. Use MS Word and MS Excel as very convenient reporting tool to manage bulk print mailings.
