The Professional edition is an agent based solution: An agent deployed to each server provides deep server monitoring, without needing a central monitoring system. The Workgroup edition is an agentless solution: A single server monitors the entire network, covering Windows and Linux servers and network devices. ServerAssist provides deep monitoring of all your Windows servers and workstations, monitoring key indicators, event logs, performance items and services. ServerAssist identifies performance and availability problems, provides diagnostic information, and allows comprehensive service level and performance reporting.
