ServerAssist is the most comprehensive network monitoring solution available. Yet, it is very easy to use. One of the best ways to keep your servers running smoothly is to regularly monitor them on a proactive basis, looking for potential problems before they can turn into real issues resulting in unexpected downtime. While proactive management won't discover all problems, it is possible to catch many of them before they turn really serious. ServerAssist identifies performance and availability problems, provides diagnostic information, and allows comprehensive service level and performance reporting. From one intuitive console, ServerAssist provides a complete solution for centrally managing the health, performance, and availability of all your Windows computers. By allowing you to identify, diagnose and solve server problems before they become a crisis, ServerAssist enables you to handle critical situations quickly and effectively. ServerAssist can monitor any SNMP-compliant device on your network, such as a router, UPS or printer. It captures any available numeric OIDs, displays them graphically and monitors the values, alerting you when a value crosses a defined threshold. A MIB catalogue built in to the Management Console provides a user-friendly way to select the appropriate object identifiers to be monitored. New MIBs can be added to the catalogue simply by browsing to manufacturer-supplied MIB file. The values collected from each device are plotted on a performance chart, so that you can see how they change over time. The individual values can be monitored, and a response automatically generated when a value crosses a threshold, keeping you informed about unusual activity. ServerAssist provides two complementary sets of reporting information. Summaries and aggregated information give overviews of the state of the entire network and server infrastructure. Detailed reports cover the different aspects of an individual server's operation in detail.
