About the software: The software is primarily designed to be a learning tool for people who enjoy mathematics, are new to mathematics, or struggle with mathematics. Secondarily, as this software is distributed with source code, the software may serve as a demonstration of the Java programming language?s built in Math functions. Features: The software features a total of 10 mathematical areas of exploration that include: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Square Roots, Exponents, Sin, Cos, Tan, and Natural Logarithms. These areas of mathematical exploration are studied in 'sessions' of 10 questions which are asked in a flash card style and are not timed. At the end of a session the results of 'Right Answers' and 'Wrong Answers' are printed on the screen, so performance may be tracked. At the end of any session a user will always know how many questions he answered incorrectly and how many correctly. There are also several other features, such as, revealing of the correct answer in the case that the user answered incorrectly. Using the software: Version 1.0 of the Servo::Linux MathTutor only supports console operation. There is no Graphical User Interface.
