HESK is a free PHP/MySQL script allowing you to setup a web-based help desk for efficient customer support. It helps you organize, track and sort customer support requests in the form of support tickets. Tickets are categorized by departments and urgency then assigned to support staff members, who use the web-based interface to reply to inquiries. HESK comes integrated with a fully-functional knowledgebase; fill it with answers to frequently asked question to give your customers self-help capability possibly reducing the need to submit a support ticket in the first place. Although HESK was developed with simplicity in mind it still bring all the needed features, such as powerful ticket sorting options, canned responses, unlimited categories/departments and staff members, file attachments, basic reporting, SPAM prevention, email piping and so much more. Requires a web server with PHP and MySQL support to run as it has a completely browser-based interface.
